It was fun learning a new style of art. It was a harder and longer process than I expected. I knew it would be hard because I have never tried printmaking but I was hoping my prints would turn out better. I figured out how to make it proportional by using something to cover the part of the drawing that would not fit. My main goal was still to have the clear message of how technology is affecting our creativity and not in a good way. Then when it came to carving into the Styrofoam, I struggled. Some of the carvings came out the way I wanted, while others did not. I messed up greatly on the left arm, when I was carving my pencil kept getting stuck and turning into a jagged line instead of a smooth line. I would've carved the apps on the phone more clean and bigger if I had known they would've come...
