2.I used shape and color to create my artwork. I had to make the arms of the person realistic, along with the hands. Although, I did not know how to draw a realistic brain, I did not need to because I had to have color fade to pencil on the brain.
3.The phone apps match the colors they are in real life. That helps people recognize which apps they are. The light coming off the phone screen is grey because it is not a positive effect on the brain. When you follow the light the persons arms turn grey because of the phone as well as the front of the brain. This shows how the phone is taking away the persons creativity through their brain and arms. Another point made is how distracting technology is, you block out everything when you are sitting on your phone.
4. I drew an idea page, figuring out what drawing worked. Then on the same page I practiced with tissue paper to see if i could use it for the screen light from the phone. I took at least a week to finish the final and i do like it. I would give myself a low A. It was fun using a plate to make a print but also hard because it was my first time printmaking. I loved rolling the brayer in the paint and on the plate. It was always interesting to find out which print would come out good or bad when I would peel off the paper. I was glad we had done the collagraph with a letter before we worked on this because it helped me understand printmaking more.
